Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Every game plays solo or against the computer with no account. You only sign in to challenge a friend.

How do I play against a friend?

Open a game, choose Invite Friend, and share the link. When they tap it the game opens on their phone. If they don't have SCRIBBLD, the link takes them to the App Store first.

My friend's invitation link doesn't open the app.

Invitation links expire after 24 hours — ask for a fresh one. If a current link still opens in Safari instead of the app, make sure SCRIBBLD is installed and try opening the link from Messages rather than a preview.

I'm not getting notifications.

Check Settings → SCRIBBLD → Notifications is on. We only notify you about game invitations and players joining your game.

How do I switch to Spanish?

Tap the language pill at the top-left of the home screen, or choose a language in Settings. Every game switches instantly.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings inside the app and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, friends and games. If you can't get into the app, email us from your account address and we'll do it for you.

How do I report a player or offensive content?

Email us with the player's display name and roughly when the game happened. We review every report and can remove content and block accounts.

Can I turn off ads?

SCRIBBLD is free and supported by banner ads. We never show ads in the middle of a game. If you declined tracking, ads still appear but are not personalised.
